Summer was interesting

Summer was definitely something to behold from my own point of view at least. Lots of ups and downs, but overall a really pleasant experience!

Ferry Trip
Me and my BF went on a ferry trip with Color Line from Oslo to Kiel and then back again. It’s one of these big cruiseship’ish things that has a promenade running along the middle and absolutely OOZING with class and finesse.
We had a great time enjoying cocktails, fine dining and amazing views, as well as a generous 4 hours to explore Kiel. We ended up going to a bakery cafe for breakfast before hitting up an Irish Pub that we always go to now every time we’re there. x3
The way back was definitely a treat, as we had a 5-course gourmet menu in the Manhattan Gourmet Restaurant on the back end of the ship. We had this last time we were here, but I just HAD to go for that again since it was a crazy good experience.
The rest of THAT evening was a blur since we both ended up getting absolutely wasted in the on-ship nightclub. xD
Legit tho? I’ve never been THAT hung over before. We overslept so badly that we missed breakfast and just barely made it out the room, and I had to take a nap when I got to my sister’s place where I had parked the car, because I was technically still too drunk to drive XD
But the way home was nice, we stopped by an IKEA and picked up a Blåhaj <3
New place!
So yeah. I’m officially a homeowner. As John Cruelty’s handler would say, no more landlords or any of that shit, I’m a master of my own destiny now. It’s an apartment in a block down in the center of town here, and I DO adhere to and pay maintenance costs to the housing cooperative, but that’s par for the course and FAR within my budget. The apartment is a relatively small one at a total livable area of 56 sq. meters, but with the added bonus of a MASSIVE storage upstairs. And despite it being rather small, it’s really exactly what I need, considering I’m away from home most of the week. And when I AM home, I don’t really host massive parties or anything like that, so I don’t need much more than this. Maybe some time in the future I’ll get something more roomy, but I’d have to change for that to happen. x3
So yeah!
It’s been a wild ride. Signing my life away for a place of my own, and having a kickass time with my bf on a big-ass boat.
